To the average citizens private officers looks the like a real police but they do not have the powers to do what a real police do.Public police comes with a lot of work, they are trying to protect and serve. I do believe it is hard trying to keep criminals off the streets without enough of force they can not be everywhere at one time. Private police has the same authority as the city police.
